Kate’s life was not going too well.A long-term relationship had just finished.The stress of the break up combined with career pressures was written all over her face.To make matters worse,some of her good friends were all going to a beauty spa at the Dead Sea for a little pampering. Kate was not able to attend due to a punishing work schedule.
Her friends had chosen the Movenpick resort in Amman Jordan as their vacation destination after much research.“The Dead Sea is 730 m below sea level and has a 33% concentration of salts and minerals” said Kate’s friend Jane.“All these minerals are going to promote our blood circulation and remove all the toxins from our skin.My skin is going to be taut,tight and younger looking.
Jane went on to explain that the concentrated minerals would clean all the impurities from her skin,acting as a facial cleanser and help removing dark circles from under her eyes. Kate thought the claims sounded a little too good to be true.She was also a teensy bit envious that she was not able to accompanying her friends.
While Kate’s girlfriends were away,she resolved to get her love life back on track and decided to sign up for an online dating service.Kate was impressed with the site and plentiful articles about re-entering the dating world.After reading about how not to repeat her romance mistakes,Kate felt she was almost ready to date again.
Kate was astonished at how fantastic her friends looked when she collected them from the airport.Her friends were positively glowing.Their skin looked so hydrated and plump with moisture that Kate felt old,tired and wrinkly standing next to them.
“I am never going to get a new man competing with the likes of you!”she exclaimed.Kate felt really disheartened.After dropping her friends off,Kate went home to her laptop.On her screen she had a message from an interested prospective date.After sending off an email Kate had her inspiration.“If I can’t go to the Dead Sea,maybe the Dead Sea can come to me!”
Kate hopped on line and started looking.Sure enough,there was an entire section dedicated to Dead Sea facial care. Once again,it was remarked upon how the minerals made a good facial cleanser and moisturizer.Kate quickly ordered the range of needed cosmetics and felt her spirits rise.
The products arrived and Kate started using them.In the meantime,the email correspondence with Steve was heating up.Finally,he suggested meeting in person.Kate glanced in the mirror and saw in the reflection a glowing,positive woman smiling back at her.A date was arranged.
Upon meeting Steve,Kate was pleasantly surprised when he said that her photo didn’t do her justice and that he had been expecting someone a little older.At that moment,Kate made two resolutions to continue using Dead Sea products and to encourage all her single friends to join a dating site.
